1991年戛納電影節(jié)導(dǎo)演雙週單元。作為“大正三部曲”的壓軸之作,本片充滿了肉暫無內(nèi)容欲暫無內(nèi)容色情與荒誕的色彩,講述的是一個(gè)鬼故事,圍繞著日本著名畫家兼詩(shī)人竹久夢(mèng)二暫無內(nèi)容(1884-1934)這個(gè)角色以及他的作品。角色被導(dǎo)演想象為一名由前搖滾明星澤田研二扮演的沉迷白日夢(mèng)的花花公子,他終日為尋覓女色及死亡恐懼所困。他先後愛上了許暫無內(nèi)容多女子,卻無一被他俘虜芳心。同時(shí),他還不斷與同行對(duì)手過招,卻無法戰(zhàn)勝他們。為了向鈴木清順致敬,香港著名導(dǎo)演王家衛(wèi)在《花樣年華》中採(cǎi)用了梅林茂的電影配樂,最早則來自該片《夢(mèng)二》。

  一名想要征服地球的外星人ZIM 假扮成人類,而只有一個(gè)妄想狂的小孩Dib Membrane知道這個(gè)秘密。本劇于2001年3月30日在美國(guó)和菲律賓首播?! im是來自外星來的小孩,應(yīng)該說是入侵者,但他在自己不知道的情況下,被母星放逐,不知不覺來到了地球...  以小學(xué)生的身分在地球生活,雖然說是入侵者,但是幾乎都沒在進(jìn)行侵略的動(dòng)作...(反而在我看過的集數(shù)中,拯救地球兩次= =")  而且還要面對(duì)面前的敵人-Dib的侵?jǐn)_(在我看來像是騷擾),Dib是唯一知道Zim是個(gè)外星人的地球人,但是因?yàn)橐彩莻€(gè)小孩子,所以沒人相信他.  Zim與Dib是同校又同班的敵人(或者說是一對(duì)活寶),不時(shí)會(huì)進(jìn)行互相乾擾的...笑話  Invader Zim的動(dòng)畫進(jìn)行是有點(diǎn)類似PPG(飛天小女警),30分鐘演兩話,1話12分鐘左右,所以每一話幾乎都充滿笑點(diǎn)....

等待方舟

  Set in an underground dungeon inhabited by bundled, ragged human beings, after the nuclear holocaust. The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart.  Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory?  n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in.  What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts.  On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired.  One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places.  Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.
