  焦嬌(湯唯 飾)15歲就來(lái)到了澳門(mén),過(guò)著顛沛流離的生活,之后成為了賭場(chǎng)公關(guān)。羅大牛(吳秀波 飾)早年來(lái)到美國(guó),一番摸爬滾打,如今已經(jīng)是小有名氣的加州房地產(chǎn)經(jīng)紀(jì)人,事業(yè)一帆風(fēng)順的他在情場(chǎng)上自然步步為贏,是公認(rèn)的鉆石王老五?! ∫槐久麨椤恫榱钍纸?4號(hào)》的書(shū)讓這一對(duì)生活毫無(wú)交集的男女走到了一起,兩人通過(guò)電子郵件進(jìn)行交往,透過(guò)種種誤會(huì)和波折,最終發(fā)現(xiàn)彼此是自己的靈魂伴侶。在此期間,焦嬌徘徊在鄭義(陸毅 飾)、鄧先生(王志文 飾)和詩(shī)人(祖峰 飾)之間不知何去何從,而羅大牛則在同華裔老夫妻林平生(秦沛 飾)和唐秀懿(吳彥姝 飾)的交往當(dāng)中逐漸發(fā)現(xiàn)了人生的道義。

  Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present.  Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
