　　故事發(fā)生在2050年，藍(lán)小瑋是一個研究員，她研發(fā)了“零接觸”的技術(shù)--通過佩戴特殊的頭盔，將兩個人的腦電波連接起來實現(xiàn)夢境的連接。這天，一個便衣警探余警官找到研究所，要求小瑋使用零接觸的技術(shù)幫他偵破一個極為棘手的案件。小瑋覺得這案件跟母親的昏迷案件有關(guān)，盡管知道危險，還是不聽父親的阻止，接受這個任務(wù)了。小瑋通過網(wǎng)絡(luò)連接的方式進(jìn)入昏迷者易田的夢境，隨后搗蛋的余警官也偷偷尾隨而來，兩人在這個奇怪的世界跌跌撞撞，搞笑百出，也危險重重，兩人配合警探父親，終于找到真兇竟然就是實驗室的研究員，至此故事告一段落。

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
