Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 　　平安時(shí)代，百鬼夜行，封鬼儀式正在右大臣藤原安麻呂府邸進(jìn)行。安麻呂之女日美子（深田恭子 飾）戎裝登場，一箭命中靶心，引來全場驚嘆。這位被喻為“連鬼都不敢接近”的公主，卻令源博雅（伊藤英明 飾）暗自傾心。天現(xiàn)異象，京都騷動(dòng)，魍魎橫行。平安京已有四人遇害，民間出現(xiàn)驅(qū)鬼術(shù)士幻角（中井貴一 飾），日美子亦在異象后開始夢游。博雅為此替右大臣來請安倍晴明（野村萬齋 飾）商談。與此同時(shí)，宮廷供奉的出云三神器之一草薙劍也出現(xiàn)了異動(dòng)。晴明受天皇所托，與博雅開始調(diào)查種種異況背后出云與大和的隱秘淵源。　　博雅和夜彈琵琶的神秘少年須佐（市原隼人 飾）相識為樂友，須佐負(fù)傷被日美子所救，三人在右大臣府邸相逢。同一時(shí)刻，右大臣主動(dòng)找到晴明，坦白了十八年前天現(xiàn)異象時(shí)，大和攻打出云的事實(shí)……　　本片為電影《陰陽師》續(xù)作。
