北京遇上西雅圖之不二情書
湯唯,吳秀波,惠英紅,秦沛,吳彥姝,顏?zhàn)快`,王志文,陸毅,祖峰,王茜,劉志宏,張一白,艾麗婭,李燦森,陳創(chuàng),韓張焦嬌(湯唯 飾)15歲就來(lái)到了澳門,過(guò)著顛沛流離的生活,之后成為了賭場(chǎng)公關(guān)。羅大牛(吳秀波 飾)早年來(lái)到美國(guó),一番摸爬滾打,如今已經(jīng)是小有名氣的加州房地產(chǎn)經(jīng)紀(jì)人,事業(yè)一帆風(fēng)順的他在情場(chǎng)上自然步步為贏,是公認(rèn)的鉆石王老五?! ∫槐久麨椤恫榱钍纸?4號(hào)》的書讓這一對(duì)生活毫無(wú)交集的男女走到了一起,兩人通過(guò)電子郵件進(jìn)行交往,透過(guò)種種誤會(huì)和波折,最終發(fā)現(xiàn)彼此是自己的靈魂伴侶。在此期間,焦嬌徘徊在鄭義(陸毅 飾)、鄧先生(王志文 飾)和詩(shī)人(祖峰 飾)之間不知何去何從,而羅大牛則在同華裔老夫妻林平生(秦沛 飾)和唐秀懿(吳彥姝 飾)的交往當(dāng)中逐漸發(fā)現(xiàn)了人生的道義。
冰尸玩過(guò)界
Seth David Mitchell,Brit Morgan,Noah Segan不久前剛剛得知自己懷孕的艾瑪(布麗特·摩根 Brit Morgan 飾),懷著異樣復(fù)雜的心情隨同尚不知情的男友麥克(希斯·戴維·米切爾 Seth David Mitchell 飾)來(lái)到一處位于雪山冰原之間的小鎮(zhèn)度假。無(wú)垠曠野,萬(wàn)籟俱寂,看似一切都是那么浪漫美好,但是他們駕駛雪地摩托時(shí)遭遇事故,二人相互攙扶,勉強(qiáng)回到帳篷。在完全沒(méi)有信號(hào)的深山腹地,麥克他們不僅要對(duì)抗嚴(yán)苛冰冷的自然環(huán)境,還要承受莫大的精神壓力盡快修好雪橇摩托逃離此地?! ≡诖诉^(guò)程中,二人間爆發(fā)著爭(zhēng)吵,而更大的危機(jī)正漸漸向他們逼近。直到某天,艾瑪意外變成了這座山林中的孤身一人……

The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart. Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory? n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in. What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts. On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired. One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places. Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.
