宋洋,何杜娟,朱一龍,陳一諾十年之后，新太子妃因病去逝，留下一子朱由校，太子消沉，王恭妃常年生病，三皇子回京被冊封，姚芊芊被囚禁……鄭貴妃誓要奪取太子之位。王恭妃心急如焚，情急之下，梅兒說出蘭心并沒有死，并回憶：原來蘭心并沒有瘋，因為她無法面對太子，請求梅兒放她走，于是梅兒送走了蘭心，并說出蘭心一直住在蓮花庵。王恭妃不顧病體，拼死懇求蘭心歸來，蘭心最終答應(yīng)了王恭妃。后王恭妃逝世。鄭貴妃安排萬歷并不知情。蘭心趁機偷偷面見，告知王恭妃的死訊，最終蘭心去了吉壤，半夜三更，道士刺殺太子，梅兒追蹤，結(jié)果摔下山，蘭心趕到，救了太子，太子暈迷，并在山下發(fā)現(xiàn)了梅兒……太子醒后與蘭心相認(rèn)了，后來蘭心無意中說漏嘴，無奈告訴了太子事實的真相，太子傷心欲絕。萬歷把鄭貴妃叫到跟前，斥責(zé)對王恭妃的死訊隱瞞不報，并且萬歷知道鄭貴妃派人行刺一事， 鄭貴妃被禁足。最終按皇貴妃的禮制厚葬了王恭妃
