劇情簡(jiǎn)介
一個(gè)老頭回顧了一些他的西部小鎮(zhèn),比墓碑或道奇城更粗野的男人和女人的滑稽動(dòng)作。在這個(gè)鎮(zhèn)上沒有一個(gè)是好鏡頭,婦女是餓了新肉,實(shí)際王牌比比皆是。一個(gè)陌生人漫步到鎮(zhèn),證明耐混亂的,穿上后一些牛仔啞彈開始清理,鎮(zhèn)。

20世紀(jì)50、60年代,亨利·韋斯特博士(威廉·麥鮑瑟 William Mapother 飾)創(chuàng)建了靈學(xué)實(shí)驗(yàn)室阿提克斯研究所,針對(duì)超能力、透視、讀心術(shù)、隔空取物等邊緣學(xué)科展開研究。雖然遭遇了無數(shù)的挫折與嘲笑,但是韋斯特博士仍堅(jiān)持不懈朝著目標(biāo)前進(jìn)。1975年,他的實(shí)驗(yàn)室因某起騙局而被迫關(guān)閉,就在此時(shí)一個(gè)略顯神經(jīng)質(zhì)的女人朱迪思·溫斯黛德(萊亞·吉斯特德 Rya Kihlstedt 飾)被送到實(shí)驗(yàn)室。她之前因傷而擁有了超能力,而其看似貨真價(jià)實(shí)的超能力迅速令見多識(shí)廣的科學(xué)家們大為折服。在這一過程中,朱迪思的能力不斷加強(qiáng),甚至已經(jīng)到了失控的程度?! ∵@已遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)超出了超能力的范疇,謎團(tuán)背后惡魔的身影時(shí)隱時(shí)現(xiàn)……

對(duì)美食有著獨(dú)特見解的“碼農(nóng)”陸拾谷(王傳君 飾),與經(jīng)常用美食治愈生活的圖書編輯張嘉怡(江疏影 飾),因午飯時(shí)的拼桌意外結(jié)識(shí),在一起尋找更多美味的經(jīng)歷下,兩人逐漸成為彼此味覺和心意相投的“飯搭子”。陸拾谷默默按照母親的心意生活、工作,可心中卻翻涌著無限波濤,張嘉怡的圖書編輯工作、感情生活紛紛遇到瓶頸,在都市的煙火氣,牛馬打工人的迷茫中,拾谷與嘉怡最終會(huì)在味蕾與真心的指引下如何完成自我的成長(zhǎng)?二人間又會(huì)產(chǎn)生怎樣宿命般的羈絆?一道色香味俱全的真香菜肴只待觀眾“嘗鮮”!
等待方舟
Set in an underground dungeon inhabited by bundled, ragged human beings, after the nuclear holocaust. The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart. Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory? n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in. What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts. On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired. One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places. Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.
