1971年印巴戰(zhàn)爭期間，年輕的印度戰(zhàn)士準(zhǔn)備保護自己的家園免受更大的威脅。

 隨著赫爾曼·J·曼凱維奇爭分奪秒地完成奧遜·威爾斯的《公民凱恩》劇本，人們將通過這位尖刻的社會評論家兼嗜酒編劇的視角，重新審視 20 世紀(jì) 30 年代的好萊塢。

 故事發(fā)生在2008年北京奧運會前夕，參加過朝鮮戰(zhàn)爭的退伍老兵張大川（楊新鳴 飾），與兒子一家生活在中國南方的一個小鎮(zhèn)上，雖然同住一個屋檐下但關(guān)系并不親密。一天，大川接到老戰(zhàn)友去世的電話，于是他決定獨自前往北京，參加戰(zhàn)友的葬禮。這個計劃，被正值青春叛逆期的孫子小松（胡昌霖 飾）發(fā)現(xiàn)，小松懇求和威脅爺爺帶他一起去。爭執(zhí)之后，從未單獨出過遠(yuǎn)門的祖孫倆上路了.......
