軍妓慰安婦
1938年春，日本陸軍名記者秋山和美隨日軍進(jìn)入中國，報(bào)導(dǎo)日軍作戰(zhàn)進(jìn)程。一夜，她參加西班牙駐滬領(lǐng)事夫人晚宴，在回家途中遇刺受傷，被日軍情報(bào)官中村謙一搭救。和美傷愈回家，父親秋山泓教授指責(zé)她報(bào)導(dǎo)失實(shí)。她的中國母親陳婉似更是悲憤。和美得知日軍在南京的暴行，大受震撼。此時(shí)，她的小學(xué)同學(xué)新井慶子和一批日本及韓國女子來到上海，又匆匆坐軍車離去，使她迷惑不解。新井慶子等人是日本陸軍絕密的后勤配置慰安婦。和美經(jīng)過艱難的調(diào)查采訪，終于掌握了慰安所的秘密，了解了慰安婦的悲慘命運(yùn)，使她對日軍的戰(zhàn)爭宣傳改變了觀點(diǎn)，并寫出了長篇報(bào)道文章《地獄中的慰安婦》。中村謙一負(fù)責(zé)保護(hù)和監(jiān)視和美，他冷酷的外表中隱藏著對她的愛。中村勸和美不要玩火自焚，并向她坦露心跡。情報(bào)部主管川崎少將偵知中村徇情瀆職，將中村關(guān)了禁閉，另派坂田大尉監(jiān)視和美?？谷盏叵陆M織獲悉和美寫了揭露日軍慰安婦內(nèi)幕的爆炸性新聞稿，便設(shè)法通過和美的表妹陳美玲和陳婉似將稿子轉(zhuǎn)出來。不料中了坂田的埋伏，陳美玲逃脫，陳婉似被捕，被折磨致死。秋山泓自殺身亡。中村逃出牢獄，冒死救出和美，遭到坂田追殺，和美重落川崎魔掌。她遭到強(qiáng)迫后被送往慰安所。中村九死一生，被陳美玲所在新四軍和地下組織所救。和美在慰安所受盡非人折磨，她忍辱負(fù)重，寫下了記錄慰安婦命運(yùn)的稿子《地獄究竟有幾層》。地下組織向日軍發(fā)起猛攻，中村沖入慰安所去救和美，但和美已因患梅毒被送往731細(xì)菌部隊(duì)。中村焚毀了慰安所，與川崎搏斗，同歸于盡。731部隊(duì)將和美作為活標(biāo)本，殘酷地反復(fù)進(jìn)行梅毒試驗(yàn)。她從精神到肉體都完全崩潰了，但她仍在靈魂支配下寫稿。日本天皇發(fā)布投降詔書時(shí)，她終于下到了地獄的最底層，但她的靈魂卻飛上了天國

In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
